Major Jones has taken care of a vacant piece of commercial property for my company for 5 years and has not only done a great job but has saved us a lot of money and headaches with code violations. He has gone out of his way to keep us informed on conditions including trash and illegal parking. He is a pleasure to work with and I was always able to count on him doing anything requested in timely manner with no follow-up.

I signed a year-long contract with Mr. Jones and have been extremely pleased. My lawn was a huge job and he just jumped right in to tackle it. He is reliable, trust worthy and act as an advisor on what is needed to help maintain the lawn. I don’t live in the house but have been by there for other matters and the lawn is well kept. I contacted a few others but Mr. Jones was responsive and did aptly what said he was going to do. In addition, he started the job ASAP to get me included with his current schedule. I highly recommend him to others that are looking for a trust worthy and reliable person to provide lawn care service.
The Major gives excellent service. He is polite, has all necessary machinery, is punctual, pleasant, dependable and has a great work ethic. We lived out of state and purchased a home in Charlotte, not moving in for a month. We didn’t know it but the grass had grown very high. In fact we were told that we had gotten 2 notices to mow from the HOA. We got the name of the business from Angiie’s List and called in the afternoon. He was so helpful over the phone that we felt we had called the right person. He came over and worked until dark, having to mow twice to get the grass to an acceptable length. He mailed us iphone pictures to show us the before and after. He is very busy but did us a tremendous favor even though he didn’t know us. Excellent experience from start to finish. I have used Major Jones on several occasions and he has never disappointed. We are preparing to put our house on the market and I contacted Bill to assist in the process. If you desire a superior work product at a resonate price than you can do no better than Major Jones and his team. I would recommend his services without reservation and can only hope to find someone even near as qualified in our new home.
This is the second time we used Major Jones. He does an excellent job, and cleans up all debris. Our yard looks great. We have many hedges, so it is a big job. Bill Jones has always fit us into his busy schedule, and maintains contact if there are any delays due to weather. The Major does great work and would highly recommend him to my neighbors and friends.
Mr. Jones was a delight to deal with in every way. He was all the important “P’s”: prompt, polite, professional and proficient. He did an excellent job. Once again, Major Jones got our property looking fantastic! We were so pleased with the results. And we immediately got a compliment from one of our neighbors about how great our yard looked! I can’t begin to say enough good things about Mr Jones. He literally responded to my initial inquiry in less than 5 minutes. He made time to stop by my house, looked over the work on which I wanted an estimate, and talked with me to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted. This one natural area was the target, but he was kind enough to provide a separate estimate for possible future work. He is a professional and he takes great pride in getting the work done in a timely manner. He called to confirm the time he would be at the house. He was on time and went straight to work. Mr Jones said his helper had been in an accident. A lot of people would have used this as an excuse to delay the job. Not Mr Jones. He did the work of two men, working throughout the heat of the day and into early evening. Truly an optimistic man. When it was hot, he said he could always find a place with a breeze. Taking all the limbs to his trailer by himself, he was thankful he was pulling the debris down to his trailer and not up hill.
Mr. Jones is extremely friendly and courteous. He emphasized and executed against his customer service philosophy. Very prompt responses, diligent, and high attention-to-detail. Signed contract based on the excellent work product.
Bottom line: stop reading and start calling. Ten Hut! to the Major! He is outstanding on all fronts and I’ve found my ongoing regular bush/hedge man here on out. His Angie’s List entries speak for themselves and I’m proud and happy to add to them. He came out one day and did a thorough inspection and analysis and took all the details THE FIRST TIME in order to provide me a very detailed quotation proposal within 36 hours. Upon acceptance, he scheduled me in, showed up when he said he would, and did an even better and meticulous job than I already suspected he would do.
